MOF SEASON 64 PREDICTIONS

Season 64 MOF Predictions: Playoff Picks, Award Predictions, Super Bowl Champion. A brand new MOF season is on the horizon, which means only one thing, predictions! Which teams will play into the post-season, and who will square off in the Super Bowl? We make our best guess.

Before we start the predictions, I want to take a moment and talk about the longevity and success of this league. 19 years ago, I was a 21 year old kid with an idea to create an online madden league, but really had no idea how it worked. With the help of Dolan (Lhu27) we created the MOF. We had some bumps and bruises in our first few seasons, but now 63 seasons later here we are. One of the most prestigious leagues out there. As we enter our unprecedented 64th season, a number that not many leagues have seen, I want to thank every single one of you for making this league what it is. I say this all the time, but this is a wonderful hobby for all of us. Something to get our minds off the everyday grind and have a place to escape for a few hours a week. I take pride and pleasure in providing that for you guys, so again, thank you for making the MOF great!

Welcome to the Season 64 Predictions! First, out of the 14 teams predicted to make the Season 63 playoffs, I got 3 right in the AFC and all 7 right in the NFC. 1 for 4 in the title games, and the champion was correctly predicted, again. Now I blame the bad predictions mostly on the amount of turnover we had last season. The Texans and Dolphins both were predicted to be tops in the AFC and both lost their coach, as well as the Ravens too! So I gotta chalk this one up as a disqualification! Now that we are done changing teams, hopefully, the predictions will be more on the money! Coach MackDaddy won his 2nd straight Super Bowl, beating a new coach in the Super Bowl for the 2nd straight season. This is Mack's 8th Super Bowl and 4th Super Bowl title. Very impressive. What will change this season? I don't really see much changing on the NFC side as far as division winners go, the wild-card is anyone's ball game. Chicago is probably the most consistent, but then after that it's a total crap shoot with Seattle and the Rams getting much better. The AFC could be a little different. Depending on what Enzo does, he could have a nice bounce back season, we could see Dre come back strong. It will be a real fun season to watch. But the real question is, who will take the title this season? Will Mack 3-peat? Will Betts get back there? Can Coach Chefscoopa win his first title? All this and more will be answered, as we go through our Season 64 predictions.

*Remember all these predictions are very in depth. We go game by game with the current schedule and predict games 1 by 1 and that's how we come up with our algorithms. Remember this is all in good fun and for some, some bulletin board material! Enjoy

Biggest Off-Season Addition: LE Chris Jones - MIA (92 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: DT Cameron Jordan - MIA (90 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: LB Denzel Calloway - NE (80 ovr)

The AFC East last season saw a lot of drama! First the Miami Dolphins were left high and dry at 2-2 as Coach Portisss26 left to go back to Washington. Then we saw Coach Enzo's newborn disrupt his season, and we saw a new juggernaut emerge as the Buffalo Bills finished 13-4 running away with the division. What is going to happen this season? Well we start with the New York Jets. Coach Enzo is, I believe, the most talented coach in this division. The problem was last season was extremely disrupted, but as the schedule gets easier to manage, I believe the Jets will be right there with the dust settles. The Jets didn't do much in the off-season but with the emerging Zach Wilson, I think these guys are ready to take the next step with Noah Fant, Corey Davis, Elijah Moore, and Michael Carter. Last season was a dud, this season they should compete for the division, or a wild-card at worst. The Buffalo Bills shocked the entire league last season going 13-4 after a 6-11 season. Everything came together for Buffalo last season, as they finished with one of the top defenses in the MOF. They took advantage of Miami leaving at 2-2, and the fact that Enzo's Jets were all over the place. That's neither here nor there though, what's done is done. They are defending AFC East champions. This season will be much more difficult though. I think the Jets and Dolphins will both be better, and will give Buffalo all they can handle. I love the production from Alani Sheldon and Donte Fulton, both MOF rookies of the year last season, and I expect them to shine this season as well. Buffalo will fight for that division, and I expect them to be right there at the end as well. The Miami Dolphins were a disaster last season. Three different coaches, and a sub .500 season. However, we do see some promise out of their new coach BKMotorsports. He came on for the last 3 games last season and went 1-2. They were very active in the off-season, acquiring Chris Jones from Kansas City, and drafting WR Randy Gordon who we are very high on. I think Miami has the potential to surprise some teams this season, and make a run at the division and wild-card. I still they are a QB away from really making a push, but they will make some noise this season, keep your eye on Season 65 for their real break out season. The New England Patriots and Coach ELBuccs had some bright spots last season. There were spots where we thought they were going to take off and get on a nice winning streak. However they could never jump start their season. They finish in last place at 6-11 and I think with the more solidification of the division with Miami having a full-time coach, and the Jets being back in the fold, the Patriots are going to be the odd team out. The Pats made some nice picks in the draft, experts say they had the 3rd best draft in the MOF but I think the division is too much of a challenge right now for them. They have a QB situation that needs to be solved asap if they want to compete in the AFC East.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: RE Aaron Donald - CLE (98 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: WR Odell Beckham Jr. - CLE (89 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: CB Cameron Keyes - PIT (77 ovr)

The AFC North had competition leave in the form of CoachQ. He left last season with the Ravens at 5-7 and JakeLogan21 came in and went 1-4 to finish out. The Ravens were probably the only competition to the Browns and Coach Healy as the Steelers and Bengals had very disappointing seasons. We start with the Cleveland Browns who got even better in the off-season. They made the biggest splash (arguably) in the off-season acquiring DE Aaron Donald from the LA Rams. Yes they did trade WR Odell Beckham Jr. but that's a small price to pay for building one of the best defensive lines we've ever seen. Myles Garrett (99), Aaron Donald (98), and D'Aron Payne (90) will be on that defensive line. Don't forget Montez Sweat (88) and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah (80). That's 4 x-factors in their front 7. That's just not fair. These guys are set up to really cause some serious damage in the AFC. The division is there's, and will be clinched by Week 10 probably. Even the offense is stacked with CMC, Austin Hooper, and 2nd year QB DaShaun Arnaud. The Browns are going to be a threat to win the entire thing. Now the rest of this division might be historically bad. I really don't see much difference between 2nd and 4th place, but we can go with the Bengals here. They went out and traded Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase in two questionable moves, they also were looking to trade Joe Mixon as well. They went and replaced Burrow with Jalen Hurts, okay not too bad, but they did not replace Chase. I also expect Mixon to be gone before the trade deadline. I'm not exactly sure of the direction the Bengals are trying to go, but I don't like it, whatever it is. I do not expect Cincinnati to win more than 4 or 5 games, if that. They need to find their identity. The Pittsburgh Steelers were on the right track last season after starting 2-0, unfortunately they finished 4-13. The good news is that they had a nice draft. Top 10 for sure. Including CB Cameron Keyes who is going to be a star in this league in no time. As far as their rookie QB from last season, Gregory Kramer is probably shell shocked from throwng 64 interceptions. I think this season he will be better, I mean he has to be, right? I think the Steelers have an up hill climb to get this team on the right track, and being in this division could get you a few wins, but outside this division I don't see many wins for the Steelers. Rookie Coach JakeLogan21 has taken the reigns of the Lamar Jackson-less Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have some really nice pieces though, and if Jake can figure it out, he could be a surprise coach coming into this season. Mark Andrews is a beast, Phillip Lindsay can still run that rock (x-factor). Marquise Brown has 98 speed and don't forget about the two x-factor LBs and x-factor CB they have as well. They have a nice team, I just think JakeLogan is going to take his lumps and it's going to take so me time to get accustomed to the MOF.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: HB Dalvin Cook - HOU (99 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: HB Josh Jacobs - HOU (92 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: DT Devin Duff - TEN (77 ovr)

I see a continuing trend in the AFC. Another division disrupted by a coaching carousel. Coach T.Haynes who was 1 season removed from appearing in the Super Bowl, was removed after just 2 games for ongoing rulebreaks. Coach MMX who was interim coaching the Jaguars, moved over to coach the Texans and then the Jags had the interim tag for about 6 games before Dre finally came back. Phew, what? So the Texans who were predicted to win the division, wounded up finishing 2-15. The coach we start with though, has been one of the most consistent coaches over the past few seasons. Coach Boobie's Colts. The Colts finished 13-4 last season and won the AFC South hands down, and they even beat Haynes in Week 1 to solidify that. The Colts were led by Jonathan Taylor who had 34 touchdowns rushing, unbelievable! DeForest Buckner also shattered the tackles for loss in a season record with 48. The combination of hard nose running and smash-mouth defense led the Colts and will continue to lead the Colts into this season. I expect the Colts to win this division once again, not with ease, but by a few games. They did trade Jalen Hurts, but they traded for the ever so hot Kyle Trask who has nice attributes. Expect the Colts to be one of the teams fighting to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. The Jaguars have a full season with Coach BigDre245 for the first time all edition, and I think that will prove beneficial as the Jaguars with Dre are a very competitive team. The Jaguars went out and grabbed Ja'Marr Chase to go along with Chark and Shenault. They already had a nice offense and it just got better. I expect Dre to battle for a wild-card, I don't think he has the firepower to stop the Colts just yet, but he definitely will give the rest of the division someone to stride for. Coach DoubleD's Titans had a very nice season finishing 10-7, although some say he really got cold at the end of the season including his playoff loss. Of course DoubleD had the best player drafted, as he is known for his drafting and building ability. DT Devin Duff will be a superstar in this league, from day 1. Just watch. Meanwhile the offense of the Titans is still really nice, Derrick Henry, Julio Jones and D.K. Metcalf along with 2nd year x-factor TE Larry Murray will be a real force. I believe the Titans will be fighting with the Jaguars for 2nd place and whoever can come out on top there, has a great chance at getting into the post-season, the one that falters, I believe will miss out. The Houston Texans, as we mentioned before, are now coached by MOF Hall of Famer MMXCalibur. MMX is a former champion, and this is his first crack at MOF CFM. So far he's been doing a solid job getting some bad contracts out the door. In one season he traded TE Brevin Jordan and WR Brandin Cooks. Some say that was crazy, but they turned into nice draft pieces. Oh yeah, they also traded the #1 overall pick in the draft for HB Dalvin Cook, a 99 rated x-factor runningback. Wow. The Texans will definitely be better than their 2-15 record last season, they have an improved offensive line as well to protect Watson and Cook. They are still probably 1 season away from really making the jump.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: WR Will Fuller V - KC (85)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: LE Chris Jones - KC (92 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: LB Dennis Stevenson - DEN (78 ovr)

Surprisingly the AFC West did not have any coach turnover last season. The West was a solid division, possibly one of the best if not the best division in the MOF. You had the AFC title game between the Chargers/Raiders. You also had the Chiefs make the playoffs, and the Broncos were competitive for most of the season finishing 1 game under 500. Last season we finally saw Coach Roclo take the next step and take the Chargers 1 game away from the Super Bowl, as the 7th seed! Now the most impressive stat out of all, was Justin Herbert's 64 interceptions. All those turnovers and the Chargers were still just 1 game away from making it all the way. Just imagine if he cuts those interceptions in half? I believe that's what he will do this season and we will see a juggernaut in LA. Herbert is now x-factor, Ekeler is x-factor, Keenan Allen is x-factor, and his TE Jacob Harris is well on his way. The Chargers will be fighting the Raiders for the division all season, it will come down to the head to heads against each other. Outspoken, confident, and impressive. There are many words used to describe Coach Chefscoopa but sophomore slump is not one of them. Coach Chef took the rebuilt Raiders all the way to the Super Bowl and were 3 points away from taking the title from MackDaddy. This season all they did was trade for Cameron Jordan and sign Raheem Mostert. Already known for their speed, they got faster trading for Jaylon Smith of the Cowboys. Im hearing rumors that Joey Webster might win the starting job over Derek Carr, which would be insane since Carr almost won the MOF MVP award. Things are crazy in Vegas, and Chef will be right there when the chips fly fighting the Chargers for this division, and for an AFC title. The Kansas City Chiefs come into this season off yet another 11-6 finish. This time though they were a wild-card team and not a division winner. The way last season started it didn't look like the Chiefs were going to make the playoffs, they were adjusting to life without Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, among others. However, they went out and traded for TE Brevin Jordan and this season they went out and got Will Fuller from the Miami Dolphins. They are slowly rebuilding their offense and turning into a running team. Clyde Edwards-Helaire had 405 carries last season and that's unusual with a 99 rated x-factor QB. The Chiefs defense took a little hit as they traded away Chris Jones but I really don't think they'll feel it too much. I think the Chiefs are the 3rd best team in the division, even though he's beaten the Raiders all 5 times they've played, including the playoffs. I think things will be different this season, the Chiefs will struggle against the division but I still think they have a great shot at a wild-card. The silent assassin is what i like to call Coach Trigrdan. He doesn't say much, he isn't too outspoken. He plays his games, he plays sim, and moves on to the next game. He builds his team from the ground up, usually, and he's started with a great QB in Chip Dugan, who was close to winning offensive rookie of the year. Dugan has 90 speed, and can run all over the field with 95 throw power can also throw darts. Deon Cook is another rookie who had a tremendous season. I think the Broncos, talent wise, are lacking. That's the biggest downfall for Trig, because talent wise he can hang with anyone in the MOF, but you can only go as far as your team's rating. I think he's doing a good job building them up, but they are still a year or two away from really taking out the Raiders or Chargers here. I expect Denver to be close to 500 again, but missing out on the post-season.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: K Chris Boswell - NYG (81 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: LE Fletcher Cox - WAS (91 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: TE Romeo DeCarvalo - DAL (75 ovr)

The NFC East saw its own share of coaching changes. The Washington Football Team's Coach Estrada took his ball and went home after 4 straight losses (3 sim) then enter Coach Betts (Portisss26) who made his way back home. He finished the season 12-1 and won the division, incredibly impressive. We also saw the active Coach Mlett21 leave mid-season, and Coach PremierPlayer putting some respect back in Philly going 4-6. We do start with the Washington Football Team. Like we mentioned above, Coach Betts took over at 0-4 and finished the season 12-1, winning the division. They were bounced in the 1st round of the playoffs by the Falcons, but the fact that Betts turned their season around like that is fantastic. Now with a full season in the drivers season, he's ready to rock. I see Washington winning this division pretty handedly, I also think Antonio Gibson will be one of the favorites to win NFC MVP as well as CFM MVP. Washington didn't really do much to improve the team, they did trade away Fletcher Cox and Jadeveon Clowney, in what was a surprising move, to clear up some cap space. Oh they still have Chase Young and Jonathan Allen, don't worry. Washington will be just fine, in fact, I think they will be one of the teams that has the best shot at knocking off the 2-time defending champion MackDaddy and the Packers. The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a disappointing Season 63 where they finished 8-9. A year after they finished 11-6 and made the playoffs. The Cowboys went out and signed Sony Michel to spell Elliott as he gets a little older. They also drafted Romeo DeCarvalo who will be a force to be reckoned with at tight end. The offensive line is still their strong suite. Two SS, and one star. Zack Martin (96), Tyron Smith (92), and La'el Collins (89) make them one of the strongest lines in the game. That's why you never know what to expect out of Dallas. Yeah they could be right around .500 or they could go 12-5. I think Dallas with their current schedule, which isn't the easiest, will finish right around .500 and fight for a wild-card berth. The Philadelphia Eagles, while are in a better situation with Coach PremierPlayer, still have an uphill battle being in the NFC East. They did beat the Cowboys last season, once. So i wouldn't be shocked to see that happen again. However, the Eagles need some help. This is Premier's first full season, so he's going to try and tailor the team to his style and sometimes that takes a couple of seasons. QB John Keyes, who was drafted by the previous coach, is definitely a bright spot and could be one of the top QBs in the MOF this season. Especially with the AJ Brown/DJ Moore 1/2 punch at WR. The Eagles didn't make too many big moves in the off-season, they are treading some water hoping to be competitive this season. The New York Giants come into this season with low expectations. We saw a nice Season 62 out of Dougie, but then he took a step back last season. There is an obvious QB situation in NY that is rearing its ugly head. Daniel Jones has made his way back to the team and looks to be the day 1 starter, yikes. They still have x-factor Saquon Barkley which is a plus, and Kenny Golladay. So there are some bright spots there. 2nd year star Will Dixon returns as an x-factor linebacker at 23 yrs old, which is really something you can build off. Let's hope the Giants can find a QB and get the ball rolling, because we all like Doug, and we hope to see him win.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: WR Robert Woods - MIN (86 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: HB Dalvin Cook - MIN (99 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: QB Joshua Nelson Jr. - MIN (80 ovr)

Once again we saw the NFC North finish the exact same way it did in Season 62. GB, CHI, MIN, DET. I'm not surprised because that's pretty much the talent level of each coach. You got Mack who is top notch, top dawg. Then you got Pettigrew who is prob tier 2, or 1B. Then Krayzie who is right on the cusp of Tier 2, then you got Eddie who had an amazing bounce back season, but i'd unfortunately put him in the lower tier until he can become more consistent. We start with the Paul Heyman Voice - REIGNING... DEFENDING... UNDISPUTED... TWO-TIME CHAMPION GREEN BAY PACKERS!!! Coach MackDaddy after having possibly the greatest season of any coach in MOF history in Season 62, follows that up with yet another Super Bowl title, this time over Chef's Raiders 23-20. It ended with a touchdown in the final minute of the game that sealed the deal. Mack is the MOF man right now, and he didn't have to do much to his already incredible team. Aaron Rodgers is getting a year older yes, but still has great abilities, Gronk is back for him after a great season and Chase Claypool is emerging as the top WR in the entire MOF. LB Bobby Beard is a star in the making and I expect his sophomore year to be even better. Look at the secondary too, 3 x-factors all 26 and younger. Good luck throwing against these guys for the next few seasons. I don't see any way, besides an amputation, Mack loses this division. The real question is now, will he 3-peat? Hard to bet against him. The Chicago Bears are being overshadowed right now by Mack's Packers, because they have had two very nice seasons in a row. 12-5 and 11-6. Last season was a little bumpy as the Bears started off 2-4 or 2-5 (have to go back into the records) either way, they ended 11-6 and clinched the 5th seed once again. However, they were upended by the Panthers in the wild-card round. So what does Pettigrew have to do to get over the hump that is Green Bay? I'm not sure if he can. The Bears didn't really improve the team in the off-season, but they didn't really have to. They have a solid core at every position, the QB position will still need some development as Justin Fields enters his 3rd season here in the MOF. I expect Pettigrew to be solid once again, he's the model of consistency, and be right where he finished the last two seasons, as the 5th seed in the NFC. The Minnesota Vikings for the 2nd season in a row missed the playoffs. They came very close but lost in Week 18, if they would have won that game we think they would've been a playoff team. The Vikings had an eventful off-season as they went out and traded HB Dalvin Cook in a questionable move, to bring in Joshua Nelson Jr. with the 1st pick in the draft. He's immediately the starter, with 96 throw power, and 80/83/85 accuracy. Matthew Stafford could be a very valuable trade piece (cough Giants cough). However, it leaves a glaring hole at runningback. The Vikes went out and signed Kenyan Drake, but i think Kene Nwangwu will emerge as the primary back there. I think the success of the Vikings will hinder on the play of the rookie QB, and if they can replace Cook's production. If they cannot, they will be in for a long season. Either way, they will definitely battle for a wild-card spot. The Detroit Lions were the talk of the town for the first few weeks of last season. They started an astonishing 4-1 or 4-2, and looked like they were going to be a playoff team. However, the wheels came completely off and they had a terrible 2nd half of the season. Jared Goff threw 70 interceptions, which sparked Coach Tex to trade for Jacob Eason, a 2nd round pick no less. The very nice bright spot for this offense is D'Andre Swift, who had himself a great Season 63. Unfortunately I do not expect a great season out of Eddie's Lions. I expect more of a 2nd half of last season performance.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: HB Josh Jacobs - CAR (92 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: LE Olivier Vernon - TB (78 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: FS Daniel Magana - NO (80 ovr)

Another division, and another coaching move last season. Coach SonGoku abruptly left the MOF, again, while he was 6-5 with the Carolina Panthers. Enter CoachQ who left Baltimore to come back to play with Lamar Jackson, which was a very smart move. He had Donte Jackson, Lamar Jackson, and the rest of the Jackson's playing fantastic football, going 4-2 and winning a playoff game. The Carolina Panthers also had one of the best off-seasons of recent memory. They went out and traded for LE Fletcher Cox (91 ovr), LB Jadeveon Clowney (84 ovr), FS John Johnson III (89 ovr). Then they signed HB Josh Jacobs (92 ovr), and SS Landon Collins (79 ovr). Oh and they traded for Tua for Lamar insurance. Talk about a HUGE off-season. If you asked me if they had any holes, i'd say at wide receiver. Their top WR is Quez Watkins at 74 ovr, but Terrace Marshall Jr. is also a gem. It didn't matter last season, and it wont matter this season either. When you have Lamar, Chubb, and Jacobs in the backfield, why pass? These guys are gonna run down your throat, and win the division while doing it. I like the Panthers and Q, this team is set up perfectly for him to succeed and that's what he'll do. Now let's see if he can pull an upset over the top 3 NFC coaches in the playoffs. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Coach Jfon had a disappointing season 63, finishing 7-10. They had a stretch where they lost about 5 or 6 games in a row as well, completely derailing their chances of getting back to the playoffs. Well they went out and they filled the holes they had last season. They traded for Tom Brady's successor in Joe Burrow. They went out and drafted Mike Wilds who will be starting at RT, and they now have one of, if not the best offensive lines in the MOF, with all starters superstar or star dev. I think the Buccaneers are going to be a dark horse this season, and i wouldn't be surprised if they even knocked Q out of first place, although I do not think that will happen, I do think the Bucs have a fantastic shot at getting back to the playoffs with their schedule and their improvements. The Atlanta Falcons and Coach BigReg had a hell of a final run last season, the Falcons got really hot at the end of the season, got into the playoffs at 9-8 and then upset the Washington Football team in the wild-card round! They couldn't do the same to Mack's Packers, but I was very impressed with Reg's run. Now will he do it again? I'm not so sure. Matt Ryan is a year older, and this always seems to happen to Reg. Ryan starts getting older, and then he starts scrambling for a QB for the rest of the edition. They got a nice season out of Darrell Henderson Jr., and his 96 accel rating, but I'm not sure if he can carry the load once again. Kyle Pitts and Calvin Ridley are x-factor receivers, who will have big seasons again. But will it be enough? That's the question. I think the Falcons will be in a battle with Tampa for 2nd place, but I really am leaning towards Jfon's Bucs. However, whenever you bet against Reg, he comes out on top. So don't be surprised if he does it again. Coach Minden's Saints went out and finished 4-13 once again, in another disappointing season. The Saints turned the ball over 106 times, shattering the previous record. QBs combined to throw 98 interceptions, incredible. With those numbers, I'm actually impressed that they won even 4 games. I expect things to be a bit different this season. Winston looks to be the starter once again, with Matt Bass and George Wagner sitting the bench. Even though Bass has good ratings, I dont think he's ready. Kamara of course is the focal point on offense, as is Michael Thomas. The Saints might want to try and rebuild by trading some difficult to trade pieces, but the button needs to be pressed. I do not expect anything more than 4 or 5 wins from the Saints this season.

Biggest Off-Season Addition: WR Odell Beckham Jr. - LAR (89 ovr)
Biggest Off-Season Subtraction: RE Aaron Donald - LAR (98 ovr)
Best Draft Selection: LB Eric Carey - ARI (73 ovr)

The NFC West started off with the 49ers and Cardinals simply running away with it all. Then things took a turn. The Seahawks and Rams got extremely hot at the end of the season, as the Cardinals fluttered. The 49ers stayed hot the entire time. However the Cards, Rams, and Seahawks all finished 9-8 but the Cards were the ones who wound up getting into the playoffs, due to the head to head wins. This division could easily be the best in the MOF, with every team very possibly in the wild-card race once again. The San Francisco 49ers are the ones without any question marks or doubts. Coach MrWitness36 is showing the MOF exactly why he made the hall of fame in the off-season. Last season he went 12-5 and won the NFC West, even though he had a little stretch of a cold streak, losing a few games, he never lost focus. Trey Lance went out and won the MOF MVP award with his 45 touchdowns and Mostert killed it in the playoffs. The 49ers eventually would lose in the NFC title game to the Packers, in a close game. They come into this season without Mostert, but with Elijah Mitchell who will probably see the majority of the carries. The 49ers didn't do much in the off-season, or draft. But they are another team that didn't really have to. They are solid at each position, and I would be surprised if they did not win their 3rd straight division title, despite this division being very competitive. The Arizona Cardinals come into this season riding a 5 game losing streak (including the playoffs) and as we type this, they lost the season 64 opener. Something needs to turn around for the Cardinals, as we predicted them to be one of the wild-card teams, they could easily finish in 4th place as well, especially in this division. The Cardinals made the best pick in the draft, in the division, which is surprising. In Eric Carey, LB. They also signed some beefy Defensive lineman in Michael Brockers and Brandon Williams. They also signed Anthony Brown, 94 speed CB. They have the tools in place, with a great offense, and a solid defense. Let's just see if Commish can get over these hurdles, and get back to winning. Which i think can happen. Coach AssuredFame's Seahawks figured things out last season, even though they fell short of making the playoffs, they will be ready this season. They were dangling Russell Wilson out to trade, and i think he will still try to trade him which i think could be a mistake. X-factor QB, rated 92 overall. I don't think you can replace that. I really like WR Kevin Riles and his 95 speed, he will be a threat all season. I expect more of the same out of Seattle this season, I expect a record right around 500 and a real legitimate shot at the wild-card. Outside of their secondary however, they need to improve the DL and LB. The Los Angeles Rams were another team that figured things out at the end of the season. They got super hot, and just missed the playoffs. They beat the 49ers and Cardinals at the end of the season to finish 9-8 and just miss out on the wild-card. Like we said, they already won their Week 1 game in Season 64, so these guys could really be a surprise this season. The Rams went out and traded Aaron Donald, in what was a shocking move. They received Odell Beckham Jr in the return. They also went out and traded for Kellen Mond to start at QB from the Vikings. Along with Brandon Paul, they have a very nice 3 headed monster on offense. With the emergence of Kingsley Keke, hopefully they wont miss Donald too much. That secondary of the Rams is a juggernaut to say the least. Jalen Ramsey, Kenny Moore, Jaquiski Tartt, wow. I really don't know how to prediction this division, but the Cards, Seahawks, and Rams could easily finish 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, and all of them could easily get into the playoffs. It will be really fun to watch.
