Coach Bubba Duran’s AI Generated Power Rankings #17

Week 17 Edition — Kansas City Makes a Statement

Week 16 gave us one of the strongest performances by a top-ranked team all season.

Bubbaduran07 and the Chiefs destroyed San Francisco 59–14, making it three consecutive victories since the heartbreaking loss to MMX. Kansas City remains #1, but the race behind the Chiefs continues to shift.

Shawtypizzle won the week's biggest showdown, hanging 59 points on Commish Jeff. BigDre continued his late-season surge. CheeferD won again. AJ072694 pulled off another major upset, this time knocking off five-time champion MrWitness36.

And after spending much of the season near the top, KnightNoles has now dropped three straight.

As always, actual games are weighted significantly more than SIM results. Team records below include every result, including SIMs.

👑 1. Bubbaduran07 — Chiefs

13–2 | Previous #1 | W 59–14 vs 49ers
Week 17: Chargers

Kansas City isn't just back at #1.

The Chiefs are playing like they don't intend to give it up.

Bubba followed wins of 42–24 over Cincinnati and 45–18 over New England by absolutely dismantling San Francisco 59–14.

Over the Chiefs' current three-game winning streak:

Kansas City 146, Opponents 56.

That's an average margin of 30 points per game.

The two losses to Witness and MMX still matter, but nobody has a stronger combination of record, current form and actual-game performance entering Week 17.

🥈 2. Shawtypizzle — Giants ⬆️2

12–3 | Previous #4 | W 59–38 vs Lions
Week 17: Cowboys

It's time to seriously talk about Shawty as a championship favorite.

New York's 59–38 victory over #6 Commish Jeff might be his biggest statement yet.

After beginning Season 87 0–2, Shawty has gone an unbelievable 12–1 over his last 13 games.

He's beaten Knight. He's beaten Jeff. And he's doing it with one of the league's most explosive offenses.

The Giants are now Kansas City's biggest challenger in the rankings.

🥉 3. BigReub0904 — Dolphins ⬇️1

13–2 | Previous #2 | SIM W 24–20 vs Chargers
Week 17: Bills

Miami reaches 13 victories, but Week 16 came through SIM and therefore provides little additional ranking value.

BigReub's actual résumé since taking over Miami remains outstanding, including the recent 41–31 victory over a surging Green Bay team.

His .824 career winning percentage, two championships and 8–1 actual record since taking over Miami keep him firmly among the elite.

4. MMXCalibur — Rams ⬆️1

12–3 | Previous #5 | W 33–27 vs Seahawks
Week 17: Buccaneers

That's exactly how MMX needed to respond.

One week after the shocking loss to Dallas, the Rams beat four-time champion KnightNoles 33–27.

MMX already owns a head-to-head victory over #1 Kansas City, and the Rams are now 12–3.

The Dallas loss still keeps him from immediately jumping back into the Top 3, but MMX remains one of the league's biggest postseason threats.

5. MrWitness36 — Cardinals ⬇️2

10–5 | Previous #3 | L 16–7 vs Saints
Week 17: Raiders

This is a significant hit.

Witness owns actual victories over both Bubba and MMX, which remains one of the strongest accomplishments of anyone in the league.

But Arizona has now lost three of its last four actual games.

The latest is especially costly: a 16–7 loss to AJ and the Saints.

Witness remains Top 5 because of his résumé and elite wins, but Arizona needs to rediscover its early-season form.

6. Commish Jeff — Lions

11–4 | Previous #6 | L 59–38 vs Giants
Week 17: Bears

Detroit stays #6 despite the loss.

Why?

Because losing to the new #2 team isn't enough to erase Jeff's recent run.

But allowing 59 points is concerning.

The Lions had been one of the hottest teams in the league before Shawty brought their seven-game team winning streak to a violent end.

🔥 7. BigDre245 — Jaguars ⬆️4

9–6 | Previous #11 | W 30–15 vs Cowboys
Week 17: Commanders

Jacksonville's turnaround continues.

BigDre has now won four consecutive actual games:

45–0 vs Titans
31–7 vs Steelers
34–14 vs Texans
30–15 vs Cowboys

That's 140–36.

BigDre has gone from 3–5 and outside the contenders to 9–6 and firmly inside the Top 10.

His massive career résumé makes the Jaguars even more dangerous if this continues.

8. CheeferD — Eagles ⬆️1

8–7 | Previous #9 | W 23–7 vs Texans
Week 17: 49ers

Remember when Philadelphia was 0–4?

Cheefer is now 8–3 since that start.

The Eagles followed their 38–20 victory over Knight by holding Houston to seven points.

With wins over Witness and Knight during this turnaround, Philadelphia has become a team nobody should want to see late in the season.

9. Boobie_MTZ7 — Packers ⬆️1

9–6 | Previous #10 | SIM W 30–7 vs Bears
Week 17: Texans

Green Bay gets back into the win column, but it's a SIM victory, so there's little movement.

Boobie's actual résumé over the second half of the season remains strong enough to keep Green Bay inside the Top 10.

The Packers get Houston next.

10. Krayzie300 — Panthers ⬆️2

10–5 | Previous #12 | W 27–22 vs Steelers
Week 17: Seahawks

Carolina reaches double-digit victories.

It wasn't a dominant performance against Pittsburgh, but an actual win is an actual win.

Krayzie has now won four of his last five actual games and gets a fascinating opportunity against a struggling KnightNoles.

11. Coach QKP35 — Ravens ⬇️3

10–5 | Previous #8 | L 22–20 vs Browns
Week 17: Bengals

Baltimore's long winning streak is over.

Snoop stunned QKP 22–20, handing the Ravens their first team loss since Week 8.

QKP's overall résumé remains solid, but this was a costly actual loss against a Cleveland team that entered Week 16 riding a four-game skid.

🚀 12. AJ072694 — Saints ⬆️3

9–6 | Previous #15 | W 16–7 vs Cardinals
Week 17: Falcons

AJ keeps proving this isn't a fluke.

The Saints have now won four consecutive actual games:

26–21 vs Bengals
21–10 vs Panthers
28–7 vs Buccaneers
16–7 vs Cardinals

The defense has surrendered only 45 points across those four games.

Beating five-time champion Witness pushes AJ to his highest ranking of the season.

13. Mindenplaya — Patriots

10–5 | Previous #13 | SIM W 34–6 vs Jets
Week 17: Broncos

New England reaches ten wins, but the latest victory came through SIM.

Minden therefore stays put.

The Patriots' recent actual loss to Kansas City remains the last meaningful result for ranking purposes.

14. BigReg — Falcons

8–7 | Previous #14 | W 21–10 vs Buccaneers
Week 17: Saints

BigReg has quietly put together a nice late-season run.

Atlanta has now won three consecutive actual games, beating Cleveland, Washington and Tampa Bay.

Now comes a much bigger challenge.

AJ has won four straight actual games, setting up a huge Week 17 matchup.

15. Jfon — Bengals ⬆️2

9–6 | Previous #17 | W 31–21 vs Colts
Week 17: Ravens

Cincinnati needed that one.

After consecutive losses to Kansas City and Carolina, Jfon bounced back with a 31–21 victory over Roclo.

Now he gets QKP immediately after Baltimore's upset loss to Cleveland.

Bengals-Ravens has major rankings implications.

16. KnightNoles — Seahawks ⬇️9

9–6 | Previous #7 | L 33–27 vs Rams
Week 17: Panthers

This is the biggest fall of the week.

Knight's career résumé remains elite: four championships, 21 playoff victories and a .73 career winning percentage.

But the current results can't be ignored.

Seattle has lost three consecutive actual games to Shawty, Cheefer and MMX.

All three opponents are quality teams, which prevents an even larger punishment, but power rankings are about how you're playing right now.

Week 17 against #10 Carolina is enormous.

17. MrRoclo — Colts ⬇️1

7–7 | Previous #16 | L 31–21 vs Bengals
Week 17: Browns

Roclo couldn't build on his win over Cheefer.

After a SIM victory over Tennessee, Indianapolis returned to actual action and lost by 10 to Cincinnati.

The Colts are back to .500 and now face the Cleveland team that just upset Baltimore.

18. Snooppanther — Browns

9–6 | Previous #18 | W 22–20 vs Ravens
Week 17: Colts

Snoop finally stops the bleeding.

And he did it against a Top 10 opponent.

After four consecutive team losses, Cleveland stunned QKP 22–20.

The Browns don't jump dramatically because of the preceding skid, but another actual win over Roclo could send Snoop climbing quickly.

19. TSG_Lee34 — Cowboys

6–9 | Previous #19 | L 30–15 vs Jaguars
Week 17: Giants

Dallas couldn't follow its upset of MMX with another one.

BigDre controlled the Cowboys 30–15.

Still, that victory over the former #1 Rams carries enough weight to keep TSG from dropping.

Unfortunately, now Dallas gets #2 Shawty.

20. Canesbucs1 — Jets ⬆️1

5–10 | Previous #21 | SIM L 34–6 vs Patriots
Week 17: Vikings

The score looks terrible, but it's a SIM loss.

Canes receives almost no punishment for it.

His 43–14 victory over Mack remains the seven-time champion's best recent actual performance.

21. Domi_TSX — Bears ⬆️1

6–9 | Previous #22 | SIM L 30–7 vs Packers
Week 17: Lions

Another SIM loss means Domi isn't being heavily punished.

But Chicago's overall collapse remains one of Season 87's biggest stories.

6–0 became 6–9.

The Bears get Jeff next.

22. Bengalsonly_7 — Commanders ⬆️2

6–9 | Previous #24 | W 38–14 vs Vikings
Week 17: Jaguars

Finally.

Bengalsonly earns his first actual victory in a long time, beating Minnesota convincingly 38–14.

That's enough for a modest jump.

Now Washington gets one of the hottest teams in the league: BigDre's Jaguars.

23. Latinyank77478 — 49ers

5–10 | Previous #23 | L 59–14 vs Chiefs
Week 17: Eagles

That's a brutal result.

San Francisco didn't simply lose to #1 Kansas City—the 49ers were demolished by 45 points.

Latin's earlier three-game winning streak feels increasingly distant.

Now he draws surging Philadelphia.

24. Coach QC — Texans ⬇️4

8–7 | Previous #20 | L 23–7 vs Eagles
Week 17: Packers

Houston is heading in the wrong direction.

After reaching 8–5, QC has suffered consecutive actual losses to BigDre and Cheefer by a combined 57–21.

Green Bay is next.

25. MackDaddy — Broncos ⬆️1

4–11 | Previous #26 | W 24–3 vs Bills
Week 17: Patriots

Don't look now, but Mack has won two straight actual games.

Denver followed its 38–28 victory over Las Vegas by crushing Buffalo 24–3.

At 4–11, the season is still a major disappointment for the six-time champion.

But Mack is finally moving in the right direction.

26. ELBuccs — Buccaneers ⬇️1

5–10 | Previous #25 | L 21–10 vs Falcons
Week 17: Rams

Tampa Bay continues sliding.

The Buccaneers have now lost five consecutive actual games after their midseason turnaround.

MMX isn't exactly the opponent you'd choose when trying to end that streak.

27. AssuredFame — Titans ⬆️1

3–12 | Previous #28 | W 23–15 vs Raiders
Week 17: Steelers

Assured finally gets another actual win.

Tennessee beats Las Vegas 23–15 and climbs a spot.

Now the Titans get the league's bottom-ranked team, giving Assured a legitimate opportunity to finish the season with some momentum.

28. BuffaloBill — Bills ⬇️1

4–11 | Previous #27 | L 24–3 vs Broncos
Week 17: Dolphins

Buffalo's struggles continue.

After a SIM win over Chicago, Bill returned to actual action and managed only three points against Denver.

Now he gets #3 Miami.

29. ThaTiger74 — Vikings

2–13 | Previous #29 | L 38–14 vs Commanders
Week 17: Jets

Minnesota has now lost four consecutive actual games while allowing:

45, 41, 55 and 38 points.

That's 179 points allowed across four games.

Canes is next.

30. Lynx — Chargers

3–12 | Previous #30 | SIM L 24–20 vs Dolphins
Week 17: Chiefs

The SIM loss doesn't hurt Lynx much in the rankings.

The schedule does him no favors, though.

After drawing Miami in Week 16, the Chargers now get the #1 Chiefs.

31. Big_Country1112 — Raiders

3–12 | Previous #31 | L 23–15 vs Titans
Week 17: Cardinals

Las Vegas had an opportunity against Tennessee but couldn't capitalize.

Big Country remains ahead of Pittsburgh, but now five-time champion Witness awaits.

32. Remo357 — Steelers

1–13 | Previous #32 | L 27–22 vs Panthers
Week 17: Titans

Pittsburgh actually gave Carolina a fight.

But the result remains the same.

Another loss.

Remo is 1–13 and remains at the bottom entering Week 17.

⭐ WEEK 17 GAMES TO WATCH

🔥 GAME OF THE WEEK — #10 Panthers vs #16 Seahawks

Krayzie300 vs KnightNoles

This matchup would have looked completely different a month ago.

Carolina has climbed to 10–5 and won four of its last five actual games.

Knight has lost three straight actual games.

Does Seattle's four-time champion stop the slide, or does Krayzie continue climbing?

💥 #12 Saints vs #14 Falcons

AJ072694 vs BigReg

Two of the hottest coaches in the league.

AJ has won four straight actual games.

BigReg has won three straight actual games.

Something has to give.

⚔️ #11 Ravens vs #15 Bengals

Coach QKP35 vs Jfon

QKP is trying to rebound from the Cleveland upset.

Jfon just rebounded by beating Roclo.

With both teams sitting on nine or ten wins, this could have major playoff and power-ranking implications.

👀 #2 Giants vs #19 Cowboys

Shawtypizzle vs TSG_Lee34

Dallas has already shown it can pull a massive upset by beating MMX.

Now TSG gets another shot at an elite team.

Shawty, meanwhile, is 12–1 over his last 13 games and chasing Kansas City for #1.

🏆 #4 Rams vs #26 Buccaneers

MMXCalibur vs ELBuccs

On paper, MMX should control this matchup.

But after Dallas shocked the Rams two weeks ago, overlooking anybody would be dangerous.

MMX needs to keep winning if he wants another shot at #1.

👑 THE CHIEFS SEND A MESSAGE

Kansas City regained #1 last week because MMX opened the door.

This week, Bubba kicked it off the hinges.

59–14.

The Chiefs have now responded to their second loss with three straight actual victories:

42–24 vs Bengals
45–18 vs Patriots
59–14 vs 49ers

That's 146 points scored in three games.

But Week 16 also showed just how dangerous the rest of the field has become.

Shawtypizzle dropped 59 on Detroit and moves to #2. BigReub sits at 13–2. MMX responded by beating Knight. BigDre has won four straight actual games by an average of 26 points. Cheefer is 8–3 after starting 0–4. AJ just knocked off five-time champion Witness.

The postseason is approaching, and the list of legitimate threats is growing.

But for another week, there is no debate over who sits on top.

Bubbaduran07. Kansas City Chiefs. 13–2.

#1 heading into Week 17.
