MOF SEASON 88 WEEK 5 POWER RANKINGS
A New King, a Coaching Shakeup, and the Battle for the Top
Four weeks into Season 88, the MOF Power Rankings have taken a dramatic turn.
The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants remain undefeated after defeating Buffalo 45–27, but the biggest story came after the final whistle. Shawtypizzle was removed from the league, leaving the Giants without the coach who guided them to a championship.
Taking over is TexmexGalvan, who brings a career record of 241–668–5, a .266 winning percentage, three playoff appearances, two division titles, and no playoff victories. The Giants may be 4–0, but their future suddenly looks uncertain.
That opens the door for BigReub0904 and the Miami Dolphins to claim the #1 ranking.
Meanwhile, MrWitness36 continues dominating with Arizona, Snooppanther has Cleveland looking like a legitimate championship contender, and MrRoclo remains undefeated with Indianapolis.
Bubbaduran07 and Kansas City responded to their first loss with a 34–0 shutout, while TSG_Lee34 delivered the biggest upset of Week 4 by knocking off previously undefeated Seattle.
With coaching changes, major upsets, and several undefeated teams still standing, the race for the top is heating up.
Here are the MOF Season 88 Power Rankings heading into Week 5, with SIM results receiving minimal weight.
1. BigReub0904 — Miami Dolphins ⬆️1
Record: 4–0 | Week 4: W 31–23 vs Baltimore Ravens
Week 5: Tennessee Titans
There's a new king in the MOF.
BigReub0904 takes over the #1 ranking after another impressive victory, defeating Coach QKP35 and Baltimore 31–23. Miami has now won four consecutive games to open the season and continues to show the consistency that carried the Dolphins to the S87 Super Bowl.
With the Giants undergoing a coaching change, Miami becomes the team everyone is chasing. Tennessee is next as BigReub0904 looks to remain perfect.
2. MrWitness36 — Arizona Cardinals ⬆️2
Record: 4–0 | Week 4: W 31–24 vs Los Angeles Rams
Week 5: Pittsburgh Steelers
MrWitness36 continues building one of the strongest résumés in the league. Arizona completed its second victory over MMXCalibur this season, defeating Los Angeles 31–24.
The Cardinals have now scored 161 points through four games and remain undefeated. With Pittsburgh coming to town, MrWitness36 has an excellent opportunity to improve to 5–0 and continue applying pressure to Miami.
3. Snooppanther — Cleveland Browns ⬆️5
Record: 4–0 | Week 4: W 43–26 vs San Francisco 49ers
Week 5: Los Angeles Chargers
It's time to start talking about Cleveland as a serious championship contender.
Snooppanther followed victories over Baltimore and Cincinnati with a convincing 43–26 win over San Francisco. The Browns have scored 153 points through four games and have one of the strongest collections of actual victories in the MOF.
Cleveland moves into the Top 3, but Week 5 brings a major challenge against a red-hot Lynx and the Los Angeles Chargers.
4. MrRoclo — Indianapolis Colts ⬆️3
Record: 4–0 | Week 4: W 38–34 vs Houston Texans
Week 5: Buffalo Bills
Indianapolis keeps finding ways to win.
MrRoclo survived another close battle, defeating Coach QC and Houston 38–34. The Colts have now scored an impressive 167 points through four games, making them one of the highest-scoring teams in the league.
The offense is clearly championship-caliber, but the defense has allowed 86 points over the last two games. Buffalo provides another opportunity to improve before the schedule gets tougher.
5. Bubbaduran07 — Kansas City Chiefs ⬆️1
Record: 3–1 | Week 4: W 34–0 vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Week 5: Las Vegas Raiders
That's exactly the response Kansas City needed.
After suffering its first loss against the defending champion Giants, Coach Duran and the Chiefs returned home and completely dominated Pittsburgh, winning 34–0.
Kansas City has now scored 142 points through four games, and the defense delivered its first shutout of the season.
The Chiefs move back into the Top 5 and now prepare for a divisional matchup against Big_Country1112 and the Las Vegas Raiders. Another convincing victory could put Kansas City right back into the conversation near the top.
6. KnightNoles — Seattle Seahawks ⬇️3
Record: 3–1 | Week 4: L 50–42 vs Dallas Cowboys
Week 5: Houston Texans
Nobody saw this coming.
KnightNoles entered Week 4 undefeated and ranked #3, only to suffer a shocking 50–42 loss to TSG_Lee34 and the previously winless Dallas Cowboys.
Seattle's offense still produced 42 points, but surrendering 50 to an 0–3 opponent raises major concerns.
The Seahawks remain one of the league's strongest teams, but the loss drops them three positions. Houston is next, and KnightNoles needs a defensive response.
7. Jfon — Cincinnati Bengals ⬇️2
Record: 3–1 | Week 4: W 39–9 vs Denver Broncos
Week 5: Jacksonville Jaguars
Jfon bounced back in dominating fashion.
After suffering a narrow defeat against Cleveland, Cincinnati dismantled MackDaddy and Denver 39–9. The Bengals controlled the game and reminded everyone why they reached the AFC Championship last season.
Cincinnati drops two spots only because of the strong performances and movement above them. A matchup with BigDre245 and Jacksonville provides another opportunity to strengthen the Bengals' position.
8. Canesbucs1 — New York Jets ⬆️1
Record: 4–0 | Week 4: W 45–14 vs Washington Commanders
Week 5: New York Giants
Canesbucs1 is back in championship form.
The Jets demolished Washington 45–14, improving to 4–0 and continuing one of the most impressive starts in the MOF.
New York's offense has been explosive in actual games, and the seven-time champion is quickly putting last season's disappointing record behind him.
Now comes the biggest storyline of Week 5. Canesbucs1 faces the undefeated Giants, but instead of Shawtypizzle, he'll be facing newly appointed coach TexmexGalvan.
9. Krayzie300 — Carolina Panthers ⬆️1
Record: 2–2 | Week 4: W 31–28 vs Jacksonville Jaguars
Week 5: Philadelphia Eagles
Carolina finally stopped the bleeding.
After consecutive high-scoring losses, Krayzie300 edged BigDre245 and Jacksonville 31–28. The victory was important for a Panthers team that has shown plenty of offensive firepower but struggled defensively.
Carolina returns to the Top 10, but a matchup against a surging Philadelphia team will be another difficult test.
10. CheeferD — Philadelphia Eagles ⬆️5
Record: 3–1 | Week 4: W 45–21 vs New England Patriots
Week 5: Carolina Panthers
Philadelphia is making its move.
CheeferD dominated Mindenplaya and New England 45–21, extending the Eagles' winning streak to three games, including one SIM victory.
Philadelphia's only loss came against the defending champion Giants by five points. The Eagles are beginning to look like the dangerous team many expected entering the season.
A victory over #9 Carolina could send CheeferD even higher.
11. Lynx — Los Angeles Chargers ⬆️6
Record: 3–1 | Week 4: W 44–38 vs Chicago Bears
Week 5: Cleveland Browns
The Chargers might be the hottest team outside the Top 10. Lynx has now won three consecutive games, scoring 48, 56, and 44 points during that stretch. Los Angeles is moving up quickly, and a Week 5 showdown with undefeated Cleveland could be a season-defining opportunity.
12. BigDre245 — Jacksonville Jaguars ⬆️1
Record: 2–2 | Week 4: L 31–28 vs Carolina Panthers
Week 5: Cincinnati Bengals
Jacksonville's two-game winning streak ended in a close 31–28 loss to Carolina. BigDre245 remains competitive, but the Jaguars have struggled against stronger opponents. Cincinnati provides another opportunity to prove Jacksonville belongs among the league's better teams.
13. BigReg — Atlanta Falcons ⬇️2
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 48–45 vs New Orleans Saints
Week 5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Atlanta's offense continues producing points, but the defense has become a serious problem. BigReg scored 45 against New Orleans and still lost. The Falcons have now dropped three consecutive games while allowing 139 points during that stretch. Tampa Bay is next, and Atlanta desperately needs to stop the slide.
14. Domi_TSX — Chicago Bears ⬇️2
Record: 2–2 | Week 4: L 44–38 vs Los Angeles Chargers
Week 5: Denver Broncos
Chicago's two-game winning streak came to an end against Lynx. Domi_TSX scored 38 points but couldn't slow down the Chargers. The Bears remain dangerous offensively and have shown significant improvement since last season. Denver provides an opportunity to get back above .500.
15. Coach QKP35 — Baltimore Ravens ⬇️1
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 31–23 vs Miami Dolphins
Week 5: San Francisco 49ers
Baltimore continues to face one of the league's toughest schedules. After opening with a victory, Coach QKP35 has suffered consecutive losses to Cleveland, Seattle, and Miami. All three opponents are ranked among the league's elite. The Ravens need to turn competitive performances into victories, starting against San Francisco.
16. Commish Jeff — Detroit Lions ⬆️4
Record: 2–2 | Week 4: W 24–14 vs Green Bay Packers
Week 5: Minnesota Vikings
Detroit has recovered from its 0–2 start. Commish Jeff defeated Boobie_MTZ7 and Green Bay 24–14 for the Lions' second consecutive victory. After difficult opening matchups against Kansas City and Arizona, Detroit is beginning to find its rhythm. A victory over Minnesota would give the Lions their first winning record of S88.
17. AJ072694 — New Orleans Saints ⬆️7
Record: 2–2 | Week 4: W 48–45 vs Atlanta Falcons
Week 5: New England Patriots
One of the biggest Week 4 statements belongs to AJ072694. After struggling offensively earlier in the season, New Orleans exploded for 48 points and upset BigReg and Atlanta. The Saints have now won two consecutive games and climbed seven positions. New England is next as AJ072694 looks to continue the turnaround.
18. AssuredFame — Tennessee Titans ⬇️2
Record: 2–2 | Week 4: SIM L 35–14 vs Las Vegas Raiders
Week 5: Miami Dolphins
Tennessee's Week 4 defeat came through SIM, so AssuredFame receives minimal individual punishment. The Titans have shown flashes of strong play this season, including a convincing victory over Atlanta. However, the upcoming matchup with undefeated #1 Miami will be a major test of where Tennessee truly stands.
19. TSG_Lee34 — Dallas Cowboys ⬆️4
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: W 50–42 vs Seattle Seahawks
Week 5: Washington Commanders
What an upset.
After losing its first three games, Dallas shocked previously undefeated Seattle 50–42. TSG_Lee34 delivered one of the biggest victories of Season 88 and proved the Cowboys are capable of competing with elite opponents.
The challenge now is consistency. Washington is next, and Dallas has an opportunity to turn one impressive win into a legitimate turnaround.
20. Boobie_MTZ7 — Green Bay Packers ⬇️2
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 24–14 vs Detroit Lions
Week 5: Los Angeles Rams
Green Bay couldn't build on its Week 3 victory over Denver. Boobie_MTZ7 fell 24–14 to Commish Jeff and Detroit, dropping the Packers to 1–3. The offense struggled to generate points, and Green Bay needs a stronger performance against winless Los Angeles.
21. Mindenplaya — New England Patriots ⬇️2
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 45–21 vs Philadelphia Eagles
Week 5: New Orleans Saints
New England continues searching for consistency. After responding to the Week 1 embarrassment against the Jets with a victory over Tennessee, Mindenplaya has now lost consecutive games to Jacksonville and Philadelphia. The Patriots need a victory against New Orleans to prevent the season from slipping away.
22. Coach QC — Houston Texans ⬇️1
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 38–34 vs Indianapolis Colts
Week 5: Seattle Seahawks
Houston has been more competitive than its record suggests. Coach QC pushed undefeated Indianapolis to the limit before falling 38–34. The Texans have now played competitive games against Miami and Indianapolis but haven't been able to finish. Seattle provides another opportunity for a major upset.
23. TexmexGalvan — New York Giants ⬇️22
Team Record: 4–0 | Week 4: W 45–27 vs Buffalo Bills under Shawtypizzle
Week 5: New York Jets
The biggest storyline in the MOF belongs to New York.
The Giants are undefeated and defending Super Bowl champions, but Shawtypizzle is gone following the 45–27 victory over Buffalo.
TexmexGalvan inherits a talented 4–0 team but enters with a career record of 241–668–5 and a .266 winning percentage.
The Giants' dramatic fall reflects uncertainty surrounding the coaching change rather than anything the players have done on the field.
Now TexmexGalvan gets an immediate challenge against undefeated Canesbucs1 and the Jets. A victory would go a long way toward changing the conversation.
24. ELBuccs — Tampa Bay Buccaneers ⬆️6
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: W 35–10 vs Minnesota Vikings
Week 5: Atlanta Falcons
Tampa Bay finally broke through. After three consecutive losses, ELBuccs dominated Minnesota 35–10 for the Buccaneers' first victory. It was easily Tampa Bay's best performance of the season. The Buccaneers now face a struggling Atlanta team that has lost three straight.
25. Bengalsonly_7 — Washington Commanders —
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 45–14 vs New York Jets
Week 5: Dallas Cowboys
Washington's momentum disappeared quickly. After defeating Minnesota in Week 3, Bengalsonly_7 was overwhelmed by Canesbucs1 and the Jets 45–14. The Commanders have struggled defensively throughout the season. A matchup against Dallas provides an opportunity to rebound, but the Cowboys are coming off their biggest win of the year.
26. MackDaddy — Denver Broncos ⬇️4
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 39–9 vs Cincinnati Bengals
Week 5: Chicago Bears
Denver continues searching for answers. MackDaddy suffered a 39–9 defeat against Jfon and Cincinnati, dropping the Broncos to 1–3. Denver's only victory came through SIM, meaning MackDaddy is still looking for his first actual win of Season 88. Chicago is next.
27. BuffaloBill — Buffalo Bills ⬇️1
Record: 0–4 | Week 4: L 45–27 vs New York Giants
Week 5: Indianapolis Colts
Buffalo's difficult season continued against the defending champions. The Bills surrendered 45 points to New York and remain winless. BuffaloBill has now allowed 169 points through four games. Things don't get easier with undefeated Indianapolis waiting in Week 5.
28. Remo357 — Pittsburgh Steelers ⬇️1
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 34–0 vs Kansas City Chiefs
Week 5: Arizona Cardinals
Pittsburgh's promising Week 1 victory feels increasingly distant. Remo357 was completely shut down by Kansas City, losing 34–0. The Steelers have now lost three consecutive actual games, and the offense continues to struggle. Next comes undefeated Arizona.
29. MMXCalibur — Los Angeles Rams ⬆️3
Record: 0–4 | Week 4: L 31–24 vs Arizona Cardinals
Week 5: Green Bay Packers
Los Angeles remains winless, but Week 4 was more competitive. MMXCalibur pushed undefeated Arizona before falling 31–24. The Rams have struggled to recapture their S87 success and desperately need a victory. Green Bay presents a more favorable opportunity than their recent opponents.
30. Big_Country1112 — Las Vegas Raiders ⬆️1
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: SIM W 35–14 vs Tennessee Titans
Week 5: Kansas City Chiefs
Las Vegas finally picked up its first victory, but it came through SIM. Big_Country1112 receives minimal ranking credit for the result. The Raiders have struggled defensively in actual games, and now they face a Kansas City offense that has scored 142 points through four weeks. A divisional upset would completely change the Raiders' outlook.
31. ThaTiger74 — Minnesota Vikings ⬇️3
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 35–10 vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 5: Detroit Lions
Minnesota continues heading in the wrong direction. ThaTiger74 suffered another blowout, losing 35–10 to Tampa Bay. The Vikings have now lost three consecutive actual games by at least 24 points. Detroit is next, and Minnesota needs to find answers quickly.
32. Latinyank77478 — San Francisco 49ers ⬇️3
Record: 1–3 | Week 4: L 43–26 vs Cleveland Browns
Week 5: Baltimore Ravens
San Francisco falls to the bottom of the rankings after another difficult loss. Latinyank77478 surrendered 43 points to Cleveland, bringing the 49ers' total to 150 points allowed in three actual games. The defense has struggled throughout S88, and Baltimore provides another difficult matchup.
Week 5 Games to Watch
#8 Canesbucs1 — New York Jets vs #23 TexmexGalvan — New York Giants
The biggest storyline of Week 5.
Two undefeated teams meet, but only one still has the coach responsible for its perfect record.
Canesbucs1 has the Jets playing championship-caliber football. TexmexGalvan inherits the defending Super Bowl champions following Shawtypizzle's removal.
Can the Giants remain undefeated under new leadership, or will Canesbucs1 take advantage of the uncertainty?
#3 Snooppanther — Cleveland Browns vs #11 Lynx — Los Angeles Chargers
Two of the hottest coaches in the league collide.
Cleveland is 4–0 and has defeated Baltimore and Cincinnati. Los Angeles has won three straight and scored 148 points during that stretch.
This matchup could have major implications for next week's Top 10.
#7 Jfon — Cincinnati Bengals vs #12 BigDre245 — Jacksonville Jaguars
Cincinnati is coming off a dominating 39–9 victory over Denver, while Jacksonville is looking to rebound from a close loss to Carolina.
Jfon wants to remain among the league's elite. BigDre245 wants to prove Jacksonville belongs in that conversation.
#5 Bubbaduran07 — Kansas City Chiefs vs #30 Big_Country1112 — Las Vegas Raiders
Kansas City responded to its first loss by shutting out Pittsburgh 34–0.
Now Bubbaduran07 faces a familiar division rival in Big_Country1112.
The Chiefs have an opportunity to improve to 4–1 and continue building momentum, while the Raiders are still searching for their first actual victory.
#6 KnightNoles — Seattle Seahawks vs #22 Coach QC — Houston Texans
Seattle needs a response after its shocking loss to Dallas.
KnightNoles still has one of the strongest teams in the MOF, but allowing 50 points exposed defensive concerns.
Coach QC has played competitive games against several elite opponents. Can Houston finally finish one?
The Week 5 Storyline: Who Really Belongs at the Top?
Four weeks are complete, and the MOF landscape has changed dramatically.
The defending champion Giants remain undefeated, but their coach is gone.
BigReub0904 now controls the #1 ranking, while MrWitness36, Snooppanther, and MrRoclo are making strong cases to challenge him.
Bubbaduran07 has Kansas City back on track following a dominant shutout. Canesbucs1 continues proving the Jets are legitimate contenders. KnightNoles is looking to rebound, while Jfon remains dangerous despite his first loss.
Further down the rankings, Lynx and CheeferD are climbing, TSG_Lee34 just delivered a massive upset, and several struggling coaches are already facing important early-season decisions.
The records are starting to matter. The competition is getting tougher. And with a new coach taking over the defending champions, Season 88 just became a whole lot more interesting.
