NEW UNIFORMS, NEW ATTITUDE? DIFFERENT RESULT?

BigReg re-upped with the Falcons as coach for 5 more season.  He was already the longest tenured Falcons coach in MOF history, with at times, mixed results.

Take last season, start off on fire with a 10-2 record........missed the playoffs by tiebreaker.  So out are the Raheim Morris playbook, in with the Keven Stefanski scheme.  Also out was the base black uniforms.  Now, the red jerseys with black helmet will be the home look, while white on white with black helmet will be the road look.  The black jersey aren't retired though, they will come out for big games like Thursday night, Sunday night or Monday night football.

The Falcons will look to build on what they started last year.  Pierce and Walker coming off the edge, Bates and Watts patrolling the secondary and adding AJ little brother Avieon Terrell to the cornerback room and speedster outta Georgia Zachariah Branch to the wide receiver room. They also drafted Kendall Daniels out of Oklahoma and late in the draft got Harold Perkins Jr, who at one time was consider and sure fire 1st pick out of LSU.

In free agency, they brought in a lot of guys on 1 year prove it deals: brought back Austin Hooper, added Christian Harris and Channing Tindall to the LB corp, the total revamped kicking game by adding Nick Folk and Jake Bailey.

But the biggest question of the offseason is what the Falcons will do at QB.  Kirk Cousin is off the Las Vegas and they brought in Tua Tagovailoa cheap from Miami to compete with 3rd year QB Michael Penix Jr.  Tua is more accurate but Michael has the stronger arm.  They get a chance to battle in camp to see who will be named Week 1 starter.

New owners throughout the NFC South this year so let's see if the Falcons can come on top.
