COMMISSIONER'S NOTE
There is no questioning the loyalty that Coach Roclo has shown the MOF over his tenure. Starting off way back in 2004 in Season 3 the longevity is almost second to none. Roclo has been an absolute staple over the past few years including his first ever Super Bowl title back in Season 49 with the Lions. His most recent runs with the Chargers and Titans have made him a force to be reckoned with. Other than the success on the field, Roc has been a staff member in the past and has contributed to the league in forms of columns and graphics. Roclo is a valuable asset to the MOF and we welcome him with open arms into the Hall of Fame.
HALL OF FAME SPEECH
"Well what can I say other than “I’ll be damned!” As a freshman in college down at Temple University I remember hooking up my network adapter and diving into the world of online gameplay. Loving competitive gaming, I stumbled into the world of online Madden leagues and somehow landed at the MOF Website. It's hard to believe that I made my MOF debut in 2004 during Season 3—before marriage, before my career, before any or all of my kids (I come from the Jfon school of mass procreation)... before all of that, there was MOF. Now here I sit in 2022 being inducted into the Hall of Fame and whilst I’m a fan of giving guys a hard time and poking any and all bears that move through these MOF halls, I’d be lying to say I’m not honored to join the ranks of the MOF Hall of Fame. I’ve seen many come, many go, seen many returns—hell, I’ve been in and out over the years myself. In the end, we all know where to land our parachutes if you want high quality competition, high quality attention to detail, and high quality community interaction. I’ve done two stints on the MOF Staff, had a period of content creation on my own MOF “Off The Books” website, but above all of that, I’ve had some longevity here that’s provided a high-quality escape from the daily grind of life. Everyone gives thanks in their Hall of Fame speeches, everyone runs down the laundry list of friendships they’ve acquired and appreciated over the years—and it damn near brings a tear to your eye. While tempted to buck the system, I’d be remiss if I did, so I’ll send thanks to Jeff for all he and the staff have done over the years and built over such a long period of time. I thank everyone who voted me into the HOF and everyone that I’ve interacted with in any way over the years. I appreciate all the laughs, all the arguments, all the curse outs, all the anti-Roc sentiments—I appreciate it all. With friends like these, who the hell needs enemies, right? I’ll close by sending a shout out to Dre, MackDaddy, and Q. I’ve either had rivalries with you, arguments with you, in-depth chats about the game with you—whatever the case is—you guys I look the most forward to seeing on my schedule for a battle! Lastly, to my least favorite farm boy himself Jfon—I look forward to continuing beating you down and trash talking along the way. Everyone needs an arch nemesis in their life, don’t they? Pleasure to call you mine, you pig-riding fool! To loosely quote the great LeBron James after his Miami Heat championship... “It’s about damn time...”"
